"From the ghostly female spectre of Greyfriars to the plague pits of Smithfield, we'll take a walk through London's dark and distant past. See where Scottish folk hero William 'Braveheart' Wallace met his grisly end, creep through an ancient graveyard where the body-snatchers once plied their gruesome trade, listen for the cries of 'Bloody' Queen Mary's tortured victims...and keep an eye out over your shoulder for the Black Dog of Newgate prison..."
This walk is guided by a fully qualified City of London guide, and last approximately 1.5 - 2 hours.
It will begin at St Paul's underground station, Exit 2, and finish at Farringdon tube station.
The walk will happen whatever the weather, so do bring warm/waterproof clothing and comfortable shoes. Your guide can be easily identified by the City Guides badge he will be wearing.
