The Argentine Film Festival returns to London for its third edition this 27th to 30th November, and guarantees to bring some much needed sunshine into those dark November nights with a blockbuster line-up of the best contemporary films from and about Argentina.
With the Ritzy once more as its flagship venue, the programme will include some of Argentina's highest-grossing and critically acclaimed films, as well as animation, music and social documentaries, noir and first features together with a Director’s Showcase in an outstanding line-up of what has been a stellar year for Argentine cinema.
Further screenings will take place at Hackney Picturehouse, including a short films section from Argentina's most dynamic young directors. In addition, this year the festival will feature a dedicated wine hub, Punto Argento, at the Gallery Bar at Hackney Picturehouse, with a hand-picked selection of Argentine wine, including Malbec, Pinot Grigio or Bonarda, courtesy of Bodega Argento, and as well as tango performances from the Tango Light dancers in between screenings.
