Stanfords invites you to a book signing of Michael Palin’s latest book, Travelling to Work: Diaries 1988-1998.

The diaries open four days into the first leg of Palin’s inaugural globe trotting experience Around the World in 80 Days, (which departed from the front of Stanfords Long Acre store). Balancing his careers as reputable actor and writer, with his new incarnation as a traveller, explorer and TV presenter, Palin candidly details his doubts of taking on so much at once. However his transition to travel author and TV presenter sends him in new directions that even he couldn’t have predicted.

Travelling to Work is the third volume of Michael Palin's widely acclaimed diaries, which also include The Python Years: Diaries 1969-1979 and Halfway to Hollywood: Diaries 1980-1988.
