SAF Hook Up is a networking event that aims to build bridges and make connections between creatives from varying disciplines. Come to the sessions with cards in hand, ready to promote your work, find future creative partners and network within the artist community.

This month’s Hook Up will hosts talks from Photographer and designer Idil Sukan, alongside artist Christopher Clack.

Idil Sukan
Idil Sukan is the Creative Director and Lead Photographer of Draw HQ, a full service marketing agency based in West London. In February 2015 Idil will be hosting her debut exhibition called This Comedian, showing pieces in various formats from her work at the Edinburgh Festival.


This Comedian
The retrospective exhibition collecting together Idil Sukan’s design and photographic work in comedy from the last decade. Her debut exhibition, it will display hundreds of works, celebrating 5 years of her working as a photographer 5 years of her company Draw HQ and 10 years of her design and production work at the Edinburgh Festival.


Chritopher Clack
Christopher was born in London, studied painting at Camberwell School of Art and at the Royal College of Art. Chris has worked as an art teacher in various establishments and for a number of years as a residential caretaker for the social housing group, Soho Housing.

During the 90's he was part of the administration for Unit 7 Studios in Peckham where he had a painting and sculpture studio. In 2004 he gave up his studio to fund the purchase of a large format Epson printer. Since that time his own work has been produced digitally, using computer software , scanners and camera

In 2007 he started Dulwich Prints and Printing offering a fine art digital printing service to artists and photographers: www.dulwichprintsandprinting.co.uk

In 2008 he started the website www.modernreligiousart.com to 'display and encourage the work of contemporary artists who are in some way motivated by or engaged with the religious.'

In 2013/14 he was invited to be part of a large exhibition is the Esbjerg Museum of Contemporary Art in Denmark. 'What am I doing here?' an exhibition on art and existance curated by artist Nina Saunders and psychologist Ernesto Spinelli.http://www.eskum.dk/Default.aspx?ID=478

More recently christopher had a large black and white portrait at the 2014 Royal Academy summer show.
