Join us for an informal presentation led by Craig Horsfall, Head of Conservation at John Jones. The Conservation team at John Jones are specialists in works on paper, and they are frequently asked for advice on the materials and processes that artists should use. Geared towards practicing artists, but also relevant to a wide range of art professionals, the workshop will focus on the physical properties and long term ageing characteristics of papers and adhesives. It aims to inform artists so that they can make predictions about how their materials will be affected over time. A question and answer session will be included at the end of the workshop.
