William Wilkins exhibition

Erskine, Hall & Coe is delighted to host an exhibition of paintings by William Wilkins accompanied by a selection of ceramics by 20th century and contemporary artists. The exhibition will be open from the 2nd through the 5th of December 2014.

This show celebrates the launch of 'William Wilkins,' a monograph with text by David Fraser Jenkins, an introduction by Geraint Talfan Davies and a biographical essay by David Moore. This hardback book is 160 pages, features over 100 colour illustrations and is published by Graffeg. Signed copies of the book will be available at the gallery, and more information about William Wilkins may be found on his website, www.williamwilkins.co.uk.

The exhibition will comprise of nine still life paintings of ceramics by Wilkins shown alongside works by Lucie Rie, Yasuhisa Kohyama and George Ohr, and will be fully illustrated on our website on the day it opens. It will be viewable Tuesday through Friday, 10:00am - 6:00pm and free to attend.
