Beer Buffs Experience Something Different With Meantime & Big Al

Meantime Brewing Company has launched a weekly tasting night with a difference, bringing together in-depth knowledge combined with the fun side of beer to present an evening where the taste of the brew will be just as important as its heritage, its food pairings and the warm glow you get from the alcohol.

Every Wednesday from 7pm, The Greenwich Union will play host to ‘Talking Beer with Big Al’’, hosted by Meantime’s cockney likely-lad, and knowledgeable tour guide Big Al. The evenings will focus on a particular brewing style each week, including the who’s, how’s, why’s and when’s of the variety in question. And if that isn’t enough of a temptation, each attendee will also be able to experience food matched effortlessly with that particular ale.
