A wonderful, sophisticated singer with a smooth and poised style Sarah is without doubt one of the UK’s leading jazz vocalists, known for her association with the late, great Fran Landesman and Simon Wallace (“one of the finest songwriting partnerships” The Observer). Sarah worked closely with both Fran and Simon for over a decade, and her interpretations of their songs are second to none (according to Fran, who should certainly have known). This long and fruitful collaboration of kindred spirits produced four CD’s, included the latest, “Songs from a Floating World,” released this year to no less than rapturous acclaim (“Superb interpretations, wildly romantic – Moule really finds the soul of her instrument on this outstanding collection” - Jazzwise). One of Sarah’s many gifts is her ability to put across a lyric, whether knowing and worldly-wise, witty, pensive or hopeful – the mark of a great song stylist. As one would expect she is accompanied by a quartet of the highest quality featuring the brilliant piano playing of Simon Wallace, the superlative Mick Hutton on bass and the legendary Paul Robinson, drums. Wonderful stuff.
“..subtle and intelligent vocalist… honeyed in sound, smooth in timing and pitch” The Guardian;
“...hauntingly gorgeous” Jazz Times USA;
“…a fine voice and a great talent” BBC Radio 2;
“Cool, elegant, immaculate ****” The Observer; ‘Massive talent and perfect technique” London Jazz News
