On Tuesday 27th January at 7.30pm, in the heart of London, the walls of St Martin-in-the-Fields will resound to the music of Gershwin, Chopin, Beethoven and Liszt played by British concert pianist, Warren Mailley-Smith, under the warm flicker of candlelight.

Described as 'Stunning' by Classic FM and 'The embodiment of the modern Romantic Concert pianist’ by Musical Opinion, this outstanding pianist is a favourite at St Martin's with audiences and staff alike. Warren Mailley-Smith has performed for the British Royal Family on many occasions and has given acclaimed solo recitals at Carnegie and Wigmore Halls.

This evening's concert promises to take the listener on a spell-binding journey of moods and emotions. Audiences will be treated to a programme full of poetry and virtuosic display, from Debussy's Clair de Lune, to Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody no 2 in addition to a number of celebrated works by Chopin. The evening concludes with Gershwin's ever popular Rhapsody in Blue, with its powerful melodies, driving rhythms and glittering piano writing in this compelling kaleidoscope of jazz and classical influences.
