Learn To Sew A Tote Bag

In this one session class you will learn the basics of sewing as you create your own beautiful tote bag. You will go home knowing all about sewing tools and notions, threads, how to choose fabrics, hand seeing stitches, how to thread a bobbin, thread up a sewing machine, how to read a simple pattern, and mark up and cut your fabric, learn about pinning, sewing pockets and straps.

This is a great class to gain confidence with sewing so that you can join in other beginner or intermediate classes.

You can choose from a range of canvases or designer prints (at additional cost, average £5 per half metre) or you're welcome to bring your own material - chat to us about what you'll bring so we can make sure it's suitable for a tote bag.
