Carwash, London's longest running and most spectacular weekly club night, will be the hottest place this New Year's Eve to party like it's 1979. As the clock chimes midnight revellers will be channelling the sassy spirit of the 70s and flaunting the bright excesses of the 80s in neon colour clashes, slinky jumpsuits, plunging necklines and sizzling hot pants. Featuring a scorching soundtrack of solid gold disco hits and hands in the air pop anthems, shaken and stirred with generous servings of hip hop, dance and soul for a new generation of devastating divas and super fly guys.

Long standing resident in the heart of Shoreditch, Carwash are taking their show stopping bandwagon South West to host an unforgettable New Year's Eve party in the stunning surroundings of the Clapham Grand. The party will bring the essence of disco culture together with infectious music, outlandish costumes, spectacular stage shows and the largest permanent underlit dance floor in London.

Added to this will be a hedonistic mix of scantily-clad stage dancers, live drummers, entertainers and fabulous unicorns doing pleasure patrol walk-about performances, sprinkling magic around all in attendance.

Fancy Dress

The dress code is simple – Dress The Funk Up Revellers can mix up the decades or come dressed as their favourite music or film icons. Madonna, Cher, Grace Jones, Jackie O, Adam Ant, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, Andre 3000, The Hoff. Think 80s poolside glamour, work out wear and legwarmers meets 70s feathers, wigs, sequins, spandex cat suits, hot pants, platform boots, mini skirts and maxi dresses. Playboy bunnies and disco hunnies, air hostesses, hustlers, gangsters and cops with ray bans.

Music

On hand for your aural pleasures will be Carwash resident DJs, Miss Jo Lively and Calvin DeKlein playing roof raising sets. Expect fur to fly and whiskers to get singed as they compete back to back in raising temperatures, with an updated mix of party classics.
