Haydn String Quartet in A major op 20 no 6
Janáček String Quartet no 1 'Kreutzer Sonata'
Beethoven String Quartet in C major op 59 no 3 'Rasumovsky'
Formed in 2012, the Ruisi Quartet has already established itself as an ensemble of exceptional skill and expression.
In this concert they present a glittering programme of some of the most popular works for string quartet, including the sixth 'Sun' quartet by Haydn, Janáček’s 'Kreutzer Sonata' and Beethoven’s hugely admired 'Rasumovsky' Quartet in C major.
The Ruisi Quartet is the first ensemble on the RCM’s Artist Diploma programme, kindly supported by a legacy from the late Albert and Eugenie Frost.
Booking opens at 10am on Wednesday 10 December. RCM Friends and Patrons have priority booking from Wednesday 3 December.
