The world premiere of a vivacious march that was lost for almost a century, an exotic evocation of a journey through 19th-century Persia, and Ravel and Stravinsky's most celebrated ballet scores.
The RCM Symphony Orchestra and Chorus conducted by Jac van Steen will perform the world premiere of Lili Boulanger's Marche gaie, selections from Koechlin's Les heures persanes and Ravel's Daphnis et Chloé suite no 2 before bringing the house down with Stravinsky's provocative Rite of Spring.
This colourful concert offers the perfect showcase for the astonishing virtuoso talents of the RCM Symphony Orchestra, which brings together brilliantly talented young musicians from around the globe.
Ticket prices includes entry to a free pre-concert talk at 6.15pm.
