Arthur Smith presents The House of Fun at The Blackheath Halls, London, guest starring Jenny Eclair

Modern variety show The House of Fun is coming to The Blackheath Halls, Blackheath, London SE3, on Saturday 21 February at 8pm.

This will be an uproarious night of variety with fantastic comedy, sparkling music, saucy stand-up and more in the company of Arthur Smith, compere beyond compare, playwright, king of comedians, professional Leonard Cohen impersonator and star of radio's ‘Loose Ends’, ‘The Smith Lectures’ and tv's ‘The One Show’ and 'Grumpy Old Men'

The line-up so far:

JENNY ECLAIR, one of Britain’s best-loved comedians, as well as an accomplished novelist and actor, is well known for appearing in the tv programmes Grumpy Old Women and Loose Women. The first female solo winner of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival's Perrier Comedy Award in 1995, Jenny has appeared in many tv and radio shows including I’m a Celebrity..., Packet of Three with Frank Skinner, Room 101 and Al Murray’s Multiple Personality Disorder.

On stage she has co-written and appeared in Grumpy Old Women Live and other West End credits include The Vagina Monologues and Steaming.

THE McCARRICKS, consisting of Martin McCarrick on cello and Kimberlee McCarrick on violin. They have collaborated with Kristin Hersh, Sinéad O'Connor, Gary Numan, Marianne Faithfull and at Patti Smith's Meltdown concerts at the Royal Festival Hall in London, amongst others.

Currently developing tv shows and taking the Edinburgh Festival by storm - James Corden dubs them “Two of the freshest and most energetic performers in Edinburgh this year” - SHIRLEY & SHIRLEY are Joanna Carolan and Pascale Wilson, who filter our world through fabulously twisted minds and deliver a ‘mash-up’ of character, physical and sketch comedy. Be prepared for inspired comic observation, top class creations, and wonderfully dark ideas.

Please note: line-up subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control
