The Melange collective mix complex Balkan Gypsy grooves, fiery Arabian and Asian melodies, with daring improvisations. Led by cellist Shirley Smart, featuring some of London's top musicians, including (variously) Arabian Oud, Guitar, Accordion, Saxophone and world percussion. The jam session following the opening set is open to jazz and world musicians with guest slots for new acts.
