Classical Kicks at St. James Studio

Created by multi-genre violinist, Classical Kicks is a collective of world class musicians who perform unique concerts of innovative, energetic classical fusion infused with fun, passion and emotion.

Starring Lizzie Ball on violin/vocals, James Pearson on piano, Martynas Levickis on accordion, Emma Smith on bass and James Turner on drums/percussion, this concert entitled "WORLD" explores the world of classical music and its genre-wide influence, from baroque to folk, with some fiery latin tempos, Hungarian gypsy passion, some Grappelli twists and even a dash of tango and Lady Gaga covers thrown in for good measure. Lizzie, (whose credentials include previous featured artist work with Jeff Beck, Brian Wilson and Nigel Kennedy), is pleased to feature Decca artist and accordion star, Lithuanian-born Martynas Levickis, whose album went to number one in the classical charts earlier last year, alongside the multitalent of the jazz world and Ronnie Scott's' Artistic Director James Pearson, who was a featured artist in 2014's BBC Proms.
