Join us for a intimate candle-lit concert performed by the group to celebrate the launch of Tir Eolas' debut album, Stories Sung, Truths Told.

This 10-track album is combines traditional storytelling so common in folk music with their own personal reflections, and is a culmination of the bands work from the past 5 years. The album’s title track was written by guitarist Laura Snowden after the name Stories Sung, Truths Told appeared to violist Georgie Harris in a dream. The album also features traditional and folk tunes as well as original tracks such as the lyrical The Call, powerful Aida and the harrowing Morven Larry.

Eclectic alternative-folk group Tir Eolas draw on their Celtic and English folk roots to create their unique combination of traditional folk and original material. Think virtuosic instrumentals, 5-part singing, guaranteed foot-stomping, and time-honoured folk ballads telling stories of love, loss and longing.
