Hannah has always wanted to talk about her dad. But in the seven years since he died, she hasn’t quite managed it. Not one to be defeated, she’s enlisted her friend David to help her on a journey through memory, laughter and sorrow.

“So It Goes” is a true story about love and loss. It explores how we respond to grief and how hard it is to talk about death.

Frank, funny and endlessly inventive, “So It Goes” leads us to the light and dark sides of grief, in a playful and deeply personal show.

Written and performed by Hannah Moss and David Ralfe, the play portrays the multitude of emotions Hannah, as a child, experienced when she lost her father to cancer.

“So It Goes” debuted at the Edinburugh Fringe in 2014 to rave reviews

“I’ve never seen a depiction of grief that is quite as deft, daring, amusing and moving as this one. An extraordinary debut” ★★★★★ The Times

“So It Goes is an ingenious exploration… which tries to find a way to say what cannot be spoken.” The Guardian

“You will not see anything quite like this anywhere else… one of the very best shows that the Edinburgh Festival has to offer in 2014” ★★★★★ British Theatre Guide

“A gorgeous, profoundly moving show” ★★★★ The Telegraph
