Together with the School of Life, London based artisan bakery and communal table, Le Pain Quotidien is hosting a 'Philosophy Breakfast' at their Canary Wharf branch to discuss food and the meaning of life.

During the event, philosophers and founding members of The School of Life, Robert Rowland Smith and Mark Vernon will discuss some of the great thinkers’ views on Cakes, Wine and Chocolate

LPQ and The School of Life will also introduce 'Le Flaneur' - a free mini broadsheet newspaper for customers, which encourages fresh thinking after the mayhem of Christmas. The paper will provide customers with some imaginative and creative food for thought – including a philosophical agony uncle column, 'conversation menu' and creative ideas for new things to do in London. Articles will cover topics from “The importance of staring out of the window” to “Why conversations are often so boring”.

Tickets cost £30 and include breakfast sharing platters. Early booking is essential and booking should be made via the following email address - [email protected]
