2024: Dr Joanna Faust enters the Oculus. Journey with her into a computer generated reality where your darkest dreams can come true; if you are willing to barter your soul. Soulless is a dark and visceral re-imagining of Goethe’s Faust as a two-hander. The company are thrilled to re-appropriate this classically male role with their gender inverted take on the Faust myth. The two actresses will switch nightly between the, manic computer scientist, Faust, & her hyper-intelligent AI creation, Mephistopheles.

Spanning a particularly tumultuous time in Dr.Joanna Faust’s life from the loss of a child to the eventual breakdown of her marriage SOULLESS is an intense dramatic drama exploring what it means to be human – which is never more resonant than today.

"Anonymous Is a Woman Theatre Company has come up with a novel approach to this classic tale - ****." Female Arts

"The production flows along with the vogue zeitgeist of storytelling." The Camden Review
