This in-focus display brings together four rarely-exhibited portraits of Handel and his contemporaries Corelli, Geminiani and Daniel Purcell. On loan from the Royal Society of Musicians, these paintings once hung in King George III’s Royal box at the Concerts of Antient Music.
The display will be accompanied by two free Curator's Talks on 11 March and 1 April.
