Lela’s Lounge organises regular social events in the city that are designed to meet the needs of the African-Caribbean and Mixed-Heritage singles.

Lock and Key Party
A sure fire ice breaker! Women are given locks and men are given keys. You then circulate looking for someone who fits your lock or key. The aim of this is to get you speaking to as many people as possible.

Sweetheart Match
A brilliant new ice-breaking game and a great way to start a party. On entry you'll receive a message. Guests of the opposite gender will match your message. The challenge is to circulate as widely and speedily as possible and have as much fun with it as you can. Once you’ve found your matching partner, the two of you can have a cosy drink at the bar and find out more about each other.

Masquerade Treasure Hunt
Guests search the party for items like sparkly beads, costume jewellery, or even small gifts, decorative masquerade masks or even a bottle of fine wine

Music and Entertainment
We will be playing all your favourite chart toppers till late.
