Throughout The First Humans exhibition at Pump House Gallery, join us every Sunday at our free family workshops led by practicing artists. Drop in and get hands on with a range of materials and techniques. Work with ceramic artist Amy Hughes and Martha Todd to create prehistoric looking creatures or experiment with natural materials to create cave paintings inspired by the exhibition. Guest artist Caroline Claisse will also run three family workshops as part of the research project Unknown Territories, for which she will be mapping the local area and asking: why we are so fascinated with the prehistoric world?

Alongside each workshop, at 11.15am and 2pm every Sunday there will be a free family tour of the exhibition to unpick its key themes.

Free drop-in workshop for all ages.

For more information on the focus of each week’s workshop, visit the Sunday Socials section on our website.
