Everyone’s invited to celebrate St Patrick's Day in Trafalgar Square on Sunday 15 March. Come along and experience the best of Irish music, song dance, culture and arts – all for free!

Come and join the craic of the St Patrick’s Day Parade, with its crazy giant creatures, fun community floats, vibrant dance groups and Irish bands.

Shamrocks are encouraged but not compulsory!

There’ll be an Irish food market, children’s theatre and fun activities, film festival, comedy festival and fashion show. You can also enjoy the best of Irish music, song and dance on the main stage.

The colourful parade meanwhile celebrates the roots of London’s Irish communities and what it means to be Irish in London and beyond. The parade leaves from Green Park and will feature spectacular pageantry, wonderful floats and marching bands.

The 2015 Parade will form up from 10am for floats and 11am for walkers on Sunday 15 March from outside Green Park Station.

At 12 noon the flamboyant line-up will set off at a jig, crawl, roll and walk to thread its way up Piccadilly, along Lower Regent, the Mall and Cockspur Street, rounding Trafalgar Square and finishing up in Whitehall.

St Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival is now in its 14th year. It’s grown to become one of the most popular events in London’s cultural calendar, and attracts more than 125,000 people.

The event is organised by the Mayor, with support from many Irish businesses, cultural organisations, musicians and artists.
