Cartoonists- Foot Soldiers of Democracy

Presented at last year’s Cannes Film Festival, this insightful documentary tells the story of twelve caricaturists from all over the world, including Plantu, French daily newspaper Le Monde cartoonist. The risks they run every day – often finding themselves in the front line – and the reactions and debates they provoke give us a subtle insight into the state of freedom of expression and democracy in the world today.
