In 1977 guitarist Riff starr and singer Gary started a punk rock band, but they had no equipment and no money. Then long standing friend Joe Strummer provided them £500.00 from The Clash's advance from CBS Records. From here Shag Nasty are known to have helped to define the sound of British punk.
Today, Shag Nasty are one of the core of groups that survived Britain's anarchy era and have returned with full traction to wake up today's youth.
