Sub-Sublime, a company of 15 artists from 9 countries, host an evening of international exploration. Come and join us on the 19th February to connect with theatre practitioners from around the world, and experience performances and speakers that engage with inter-cultural collaboration.
From slam poetry to magic to Taiwanese drag, the performances will be interspersed throughout an informal evening of drinks and discussion.
All proceeds from the event will go towards Sub-Sublime's debut production, Here We Come Together, Here We Fall Apart, which premiers at Camden People's Theatre as part of Sprint Festival on 6th March 2015. Sub-Sublime use their varied skills and cultural backgrounds to create highly visual, experimental work that reflects their wide range of perspectives and experiences.
Here We Come Together, Here We Fall Apart will bring their experiences to theatrical life as the cast shares vignettes from public spaces and private minds through live performance, filmed segments, and found objects. As modern urban life keeps us emotionally apart and at the same time, presses us closer together. At what point does proximity become intimacy? Here We Come Together, Here We Fall Apart will draw attention to the moments-‐-‐tragic, beautiful, humorous, grotesque-‐-‐we share with strangers in public
