That's as tasty a musical feast as you're likely to get this side of the Mississippi. That's the British Blues All Stars, Zoot Money, Dave Kelly, Pick Withers, Pete Emery and Gary Fletcher.

The Blues enjoys much of its enduring popularity not only to its native source, the USA, but to that committed band of pioneers back in the 1960s who opened Europe's ears and hearts to a great tradition. There are few groups of British musicians treading the boards today with the pedigree these guys possess. Keyboardist, vocalist and actor Zoot Money, master of the Hammond Organ, became a legend with his Big Roll Band, later known as Dantalian's Chariot. His inspirations, Ray Charles and Jerry Lee Lewis, drove him on to become a regular fixture of the RandB scene in his native Bournemouth and especially in 1960s Soho. He's played with them all - Alexis Korner, Eric Burdon, Spencer Davis, Steve Marriott, Geno Washington and Alan Price, to mention a few. And in between the gigs he's acted in numerous movies. Dave Kelly is regarded as one of the finest slide guitar players, and a superb blues singer. Together with his late sister, Jo Ann, Dave was there when British Blues began. With the John Dummer Band he worked with of the greats, including the legendary Howlin' Wolf and John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy and Son House. He recently shared a stage in Canada with the celebrated James Burton, and for the past 35 years has enjoyed huge success as vocalist and guitarist alongside Paul Jones in that enduring monument of British RandB, The Blues Band. David Pick' Withers will be well known to Dire Straits fans as that band's original drummer. He played on their first four albums and their hit singles Sultans of Swing, Romeo and Juliet and Private Investigations.Highly respected as a musician by his peers.
