Katie Bonna

Award-winning playwright and poet Katie Bonna presents a work-in-progress.

It will most probably be about her painfully melodramatic teenage diaries or naive, youthful obsession with music about sex or holidays in Cornwall where she bought handfuls of 1p foam shrimps from the Post Office and got high on sugar for the first time. It might have some poetry in it. It will have at least one joke in it (hopefully more – but she’s covering her back). It would definitely be a lot better if you were there to watch it.

Katie won a Fringe First award for her 2012 poetry play Dirty Great Love Story (co-written with Richard Marsh), which transferred to Soho Theatre and then to New York. She has performed poetry at Latitude, Larmer Tree and Meadowlands festivals, appeared on Channel 4 as part of the Random Acts season and at nights including Hammer & Tongue, Tongue Fu, Bang Said The Gun and Apples & Snakes. She has just finished writing a feature film for Wildgaze Films (hence the rush job on her new theatre show).



Rob Auton – The Water Show

Suitable for anybody who has seen, heard, touched, used or drank water.
The Water Show is a theatre/talking/comedy show about water by award-winning writer and performer Rob Auton. Having explored the colour yellow in 2012’s ‘The Yellow Show’, the sky in 2013’s ‘The Sky Show’, faces in 2014’s ‘The Face Show‘, Rob now turns his attention to water with 2015’s ‘The Water Show’.

Rob was Glastonbury Festival’s official Poet in Residence in 2014
