VIEW: A Festival of Art History, the UK’s only festival dedicated to art history returns to the Institut français for a second edition this month (27 February - 1 March 2015)

Presenting more than forty events over the course of three days, the Festival’s extensive and eclectic programme will comprise debates, conversations, talks, guided tours and films, as well as student presentations, children’s workshops and an art book fair in association with the London Review Bookshop.

This year’s speaker line-up will feature esteemed representatives from UK and continental institutions such as: Tate Modern, The National Gallery, Victoria & Albert Museum, Musée national Picasso-Paris, Musée d’Orsay, Palace of Versailles and The National Museum of Denmark, alongside celebrated artists including former Turner Prize winner Jeremy Deller, publishers such as Tate Publishing and experts from Universities including Birmingham, Leeds, Paris Diderot and The Courtauld Institute of Art.
