A workshop for pregnant women to celebrate the end of winter and the joy of new beginnings!
Pregnancy is a unique journey for each woman but the consistent shared experience is the need to prepare for labour and giving birth in a way that allows the woman to feel empowered.
Practicing yoga while pregnant (and after giving birth) can help achieve a calmer state of mind, a stronger body and a brighter outlook on life while so many internal and external transitions are occurring.
This workshop will explore a nourishing sequence of yoga poses with the aim to build strength, stamina and flexibility for body and mind.
It is a celebration of the pregnant form, of adapting your yoga practice to suit this time in your life and to acknowledge the joy of winter – a time to look inward for the source of light and strength as you prepare to enter motherhood.
what to expect:
During this course you will learn:
asana practice
breathing exercises
meditation with visualisation
healthy nutrition, we will also be concluding with a delicious gluten/sugar/dairy-free snack and fresh juice.
This workshop is for pregnant women (14+ weeks) who have the ok from their doctor (or midwife) to practice yoga.
Please eat a light snack 1-2 hours being attending and wear comfortable clothing.
