Singer-songwriter Elise Yuill from Somerset is becoming a recognised name in the folk world but it didn’t always come easy for the singer. “It was a slow process! It took me a long time to build the confidence to pursue writing and to find my own unique creativity.” Elise loves listening to folk and roots music from all over the world. “I love live acoustic instruments and songs that are thought provoking and heart opening. I always wanted to write songs that reflect life’s rich tapestry. Being a folk musician is a bold thing – it’s raw honest music. It took me a long time and gaining some life experience to find my lyrical voice.”

Elise’s debut EP ‘A Thousand Angels Tears’ was released in November 2014; under the production of acclaimed artist Howard Jones. A full length album will follow in 2015.

We are joined by alternative folk artist, Joseph Ruddleston, an indie pop songwriter and BRIT School graduate from London. It's music of the ethereal and the intimate. The songs vary from swaying harmonic attractions to intense solo vocal displays to sombre echoing atmospheres. Debut album, "Into Embers", was released in November 2013.
