Emmanuel Waldron

Smooth and soulful pianist Emmanuel Waldron’s style is drenched in gospel, jazz, blues, R&B and soul influences. Renowned for his spontaneous improvisations, he performs with a poise and panache that has gained him fans in very high places – he counts the Queen, Boris Johnson and the Pope(!) amongst people who have appreciated his playing. A well known name on the gospel scene, Emmanuel plays with award-winning soul/funk act V9Collective and also accompanies “Songs of Praise Choir of the Year” Award-winners the Maria Fidelis Gospel Choir. Tonight Emmanuel will be appearing with his terrific quartet featuring Andre Brown (Omar, Basement Jaxx) on sax, Carl Stanbridge on bass and Julien Brown drums. And watch out for a Special Guest appearance from the excellent vocalist Ruth Waldron.
