London Reframed is an exhibition brought together by Stoke-Newington based photographer Fred Adams with support from Rowan Arts. With a penchant for gritty and distinctive urban photography and for reframing subjects with an original and cinematic twist, Fred has brought together a disparate range of subjects and themes into an evocative, often dystopian and highly thought-provoking collection of 25 London-themed images.

This exhibition is part of the Reel Islington Film Festival Saturday 28 February – Sunday 1 March 2015. Click here for programme details.

Born in France and resident in London for the past 15 years, Fred's passion lies in re-interpreting the familiar and not so familiar with an original, evocative and uncompromising twist. Many of Fred's more iconic images naturally focus on the architecture, urban infrastructure and the people that form England's largest metropolis. When not in London, his favourite subjects include landscapes and exploration of derelict sites.

Fred is also a professional fundraiser and events photographer specialising in the charity sector, who by his own admission hasn't until recently marketed his more creative work as widely as his talents merit. Two notable exceptions having been two No 1 ranked pictures out of thousands of submissions on one of the world's premier photography blogging sites.

Fred is also member of the Royal Photographic Society from whom he recently gained recognition as a winner in the RPS "Hidden Spaces" competition and will feature in the forthcoming March edition of the RPS Journal. London Reframed signals the arrival of Fred as a striking new talent on the photography scene.
