Oval Space Music / Thomas Melchior, Luke Hess, John Roberts, Juju & Jordash

This April, we welcome Thomas Melchior, Luke Hess, John Roberts Live and Juju & Jordash Live for another instalment of Oval Space Music. Having first made a name for himself in the early 90s, releasing on Aphex Twins' Rephlex label as one half of Vulva, and later as Yoni on Move D's Source Records, Thomas Melchior is widely regarded as one of the early pillars of Europe's minimal house movement. A former resident at DC10 and one of underground's true talents, Melchior has collaborated with everyone from Zip, Bruno Pronsato, Ricardo Villalobos and Luciano and he is one half of Soul Capsule with Baby Ford.

Joining him will be 'Detroit Visionary' and Planet E / Fxhe regular Luke Hess, known for his detailed, layered and often technically advanced sets that draw heavily from his scientific background in mathematics and engineering.

Dial Records and Oval Space Music regular John Roberts will play a live set, as will Juju & Jordash. Original pioneers of the free jazz scene in Israel, when this duo aren't forming two thirds of Magic Mountain High alongside Move D, they're specialising in 'an eccentric, jazz-infused and emotionally involving form of electronic psychedelia', as described by The Quietus.
