Eddi Reader

Award-winning Scottish singer-songwriter Eddi has carved out a career over the past three decades that places her as one of the most successful musicians in the UK. Having shot to fame with British soft rock/folk band Fairground Attraction, Eddi has had a highly successful solo career and was awarded an MBE in 2006 for her services to music.


Aside from her unmistakable voice, it is her ability to embed emotion deep within her songs and performances that really sets her apart from her peers. She delivers traditional tunes with the same vigour and spellbinding passion as her more contemporary songs. This gig – her first performance at Cecil Sharp House – will see Eddi perform much loved classics alongside songs from her Back the Dogs EP, released in October 2014.
