Four of London's wind orchestras will come together on the 20th March in a big massed concert to raise money for Sarah's Rural Library Fund. Over 150 musicians from University College London Union Concert Band, London Gay Symphonic Winds, The Symphonic Wind Orchestra of North London and Imperial College Wind Band will join forces to play some of the classics of the wind orchestra repertoire. Programme to include Nimrod, The Dam Busters, Pirates of the Caribbean, works by Holst and Vaughan Williams, and the majestic Great Gate of Kiev from Mussorgsky's epic work Pictures at an Exhibition.
