Vocal ensemble The Sixteen return to Hawksmoor’s glorious Christ Church Spitalfields to explore the intimate relationship between poetry and music in a programme of a cappella English works from across the centuries. Resounding harmonies are matched with powerful texts including works of John Donne, Christopher Fry and WH Auden. A delicate and beautiful summer’s evening of music.
