Try PizzaExpress' daily 'Live Knead' pizza at Leicester Square

PizzaExpress is pushing pizza into the digital domain by launching the first ‘Live Knead’ - a series of daily, real-time pizzas that will reflect the nation’s mood, public sentiment and daily headlines.

Tapping into the UK’s shared love of social media and social eating, the ‘Live Knead’ will evaluate online trending topics and transform them into unique one-day-only specials. Merging everyone’s favourite toppings with unexpected ingredients to create extraordinary flavour combinations, PizzaExpress’ expert pizzaiolos will capture a pizza portrait of British life.

Over the next fortnight, the daily specials will be revealed on PizzaExpress’ social channels at 1pm and will be sent straight to pizzaiolos at the Leicester Square restaurant to be converted into real-world pizzas. Pizza fans can head down to the flagship store between 5pm and 6pm to try a free slice of what has captivated the UK that day.

The ‘Live Knead’ aims to inspire the public to create a new pizza that could appear on PizzaExpress’ next menu as part of the brand’s Create Your New Favourite competition. The winning recipe will appear on the menu at over 440 PizzaExpress restaurants across the UK later this year. The winner will receive £10,000 and a holiday. *
