London's leading, coolest and longest running literary night featuring the best in literary, musical and spoken word talent.

This April, Book Slam gives your mind a spring clean with a line up bursting with politics, yoga, folk music, poetry and the odd joke. Book Slam favourite Jesse Armstrong reads from his debut novel, Love, Sex and Other Foreign Policy Goals, about a group of students en route to Bosnia to stop the war, while pop writer Will Hodgkinson looks back on a childhood growing up with his yogi father and feminist mother in his very funny memoir The House Is Full of Yogis. There's twangy, old time acoustica from the Dylan-esque StevieRay Latham and thought provoking rhymes from spoken word artist Lisa Luxx.

If that wasn't enough, your host for the evening is the bouffant Luke Wright, poet and curator extraordinaire whose work Patti Smith once described as 'cool'. Cool.
