Performed alongside Matthew Harris’s The New Peeces and Pittcroft Whip Ha

Field Notes is a collaboration between composer Howard Skempton and visual and textile artist Matthew Harris. Taking inspiration from old maps on Shropshire and Herefordshire and the graphic scores of Cornelius Cardew, they have crafted aural and visual works that explore common ideas of colour, texture and pattern in independent yet interrelated ways.
