Commuters enjoy ‘A Better Breakfast’

A national initiative to bring the UK ‘back to breakfast’ visits mainline London Railway Stations, March 31st and April 1st
The ‘A Better Breakfast’ RoadShow is set to make a two day visit to mainline London railway stations this week as part of a 27 stop RoadShow, aimed at bringing the UK back to a meal that used to be considered the most important of the day; BREAKFAST! The RoadShow arrives at London Victoria on March 31st and continues on to Waterloo on April 1st.

Some of UK’s top grocery brands have teamed up to support the crusade, including: Actimel, Bonne Maman, debbie&andrew’s, Douwe Egberts, HP, Hovis, Nestlé and Rowse Honey. As part of the RoadShow commuters will be invited to sample an array of food and drink whilst getting an education on why breakfast is so vital.

A team of Brand Believers and Chefs will be serving thousands of perfect food & drink samples for commuters to sink their teeth into throughout the day. This positive push for change comes in the wake of news that there has been a serious “decline in overall breakfast occasions” in adults as well as children, who make up “a fifth of the 16.5 billion breakfasts served up in British homes”. In terms of health, both mental and physical, it is of the utmost importance that commuters get ‘Back To Breakfast’. Brian George, founder of ‘A Better Breakfast’ said, “Although breakfast is a huge market with over 16.5 billion breakfast occasions, consumption is now slipping and people are skipping what was once a staple meal.
