Typhoon Dragon Boat Club - Spring Open Day

Dragon Boat Racing is a fast and exciting sport that is taking the UK by storm! If you are looking for a fun and challenging new sport then why not give it a go?

Although a minority sport in Britain,at present, dragon boat racing is the one of the world's most popular watersports and now one of the fastest growing watersports in the UK.

Typhoon Dragon Boat Club is one of the biggest clubs in London and we have several members who also represent Team GB in the sport. Our members come from different backgrounds and age ranges but we are united by our passion for dragon boat racing and our love of dim sum.

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned paddler, come and join us at our Open Day to get a taste of the Typhoon experience!

What to expect on the Open Day:
• Introductions from our team
• Get kitted up (dragon boat, paddles and buoyancy aids provided)
• Safety brief
• The party starts, set off on the water for a light training session
• Q/A from our panel of experts
• Dim Sum afterwards to get to know each other further

Parking is free at the London Regatta Centre.

Dress code: Warm comfortable sportswear that you don’t mind getting wet - preferably waterproof though not essential.

Additional info: Bring a change of clothes - changing rooms and hot shower facilities available. Light refreshments and excitement will be provided.
