Internationally renowned hip hop dance collective Boy Blue Entertainment who brought you the Olivier Award-winning Pied Piper, return to Theatre Royal Stratford East with a brand new show, Legacy #theworks.
Curated by founding members Kenrick ‘H2O’ Sandy and Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante, Legacy will showcase a selection of Boy Blue’s most original, groundbreaking dances, set to a pulsating soundtrack. Visionary maverick Kenrick will lead 11 of the UK’s most prestigious hip hop dancers who between them have worked alongside some of the most high profile artists in the world, including Beyoncé, Rita Ora, Dizee Rascal and Jason Derulo. Performing alongside are special guests The Blue Print & Mikey J Asante, and The Bluez.
Most recently performing at the Barbican with their latest production The Five and the Prophecy of Prana, the team have also worked on films such as Streetdance 3D and the opening ceremony of the London Olympics in 2012.
Boy Blue’s Legacy #theworks will play at Theatre Royal Stratford East for a strictly limited run of 5 performances only from 15-18 April. You won’t want to miss it.
