Nicos Popupalot is famed for his wild themed evenings of foodie fun. After the success of last year's 'Pie Mash n' Ravey' and The Lobster Pot (voted in the Metro's top 5 pop ups of 2013)... He going back to his roots, and bringing you the flavours that he grew up with. This April Nicos is taking you to The Mediterranean (via Hackney)

Your ticket includes a delicious three-course meal, live music and a glass of wine professionally paired with the dish you choose.

MENU

- Starters -

Squid- pan fried with romesco sauce and baby leaf salad

Mezze- fresh pitta bread, selection of olives and home made Cypriot dips

Croquettes- ham croquettes with aioli

- Mains-

Kleftiko- Slow roast lamb shoulder, stuffed pepper yemista, Greek salad

Hake- wrapped in Parma ham, asparagus, crushed new potatoes

Crispy polenta- roasted red bell pepper, aubergine, Portobello mushroom and grilled goats cheese


- Desserts-

Tahini and chocolate pudding with crème fraiche

Vanilla panna cotta

Orange crème Catalan


How it works
We have adapted our usual 3 course set menu, this time offering you a choice of 3 different starters, mains and desserts.

As this is a one-day event, we do need to know what you would like to eat beforehand, so no one is disappointed. Please select one starter, one main, and one dessert and email us up to one week before the event to let us know what you would like to eat.

If you have any allergy concerns, or questions about the menu, please email us beforehand to let us know, and please tell your waitress know on the night.
After your free glass of wine, you can purchase drinks at our fully stocked bar.

History of Nicos Popupalot
Nicos started cooking in his family's restaurant at a young age and has taken his passion and work around Europe, learning all about and tasting more of the flavours this life has to offer. Now he's bringing his experience directly to you. Nicos has been popping up around London and northern England for 3 years, but with Grub Med, he is literally going back to his roots, bringing you the flavours of Spain Italy and Cyprus, the flavours that he grew up with. This event has been a hit across London and has been booked for private dining across the UK
