The CLF and Peckham Vision Present an important exhibition, meeting, discussion and exchange of ideas on Peckhams Architectural History. Past, Present and helping to decide its Future at the Bussey building/CLF Art Cafe? and Peckham Vision?

The first of these 2015 series of events, mainly focusing on Peckham's Art Deco Heritage and the threat to its future by the wrecking ball something which has already cost us amazing buildings like The Peckham Odeon Cinema and recently non Art Deco buildings like The Bussey Building.

We’ll also be taking a look at the deep architectural heritage of other styles in the area, Georgian to Victorian [hosted by Benedict O’Looney] as well as Peckham Vision hosting an Exhibition of Photos and info on Peckhams Past, Present and Future.

A hundred years ago, Rye Lane was known as the Golden Mile for Londons shopping. There are many traces of this in Rye Lane today, not least the Art Deco buildings.

A focus at this event will be those buildings and their links to local history, commerce, art, music, culture, architecture Eileen Conn Peckham Vision
