Make your mark with marquetry - come and learn the traditional art of applying wooden mosaics to design and make your own unique clock.

In this three-part course local furniture maker Charlie, one of our in-house designers, will take participants through the process of drawing out designs, cutting, and applying a wide selection of wood veneers onto reclaimed wooden surfaces.

What is marquetry? The process of marquetry involves the inlay of different wood veneers to create patterns, old or new, which are applied to solid wooden surfaces. It is widely used in the production of fine furniture and decorative objects.

All equipment will be provided but we recommend you come in warm clothes and shoes suitable for a workshop environment.
