Carmen at Proms at St Jude's

A concert performance of the world's most popular opera, by Bizet, from Nevill Holt Opera.

Now in its third year of independent productions, Nevill Holt Opera is unique in its focus on the best of young British talent, offering an invaluable stepping-stone to larger professional productions.

Clare Presland, winner of the 2014 Royal Philharmonic Society's prestigious Chilcott Award sings the title role. After his well received debut with English National Opera as Rodolfo in La Bohème, David Butt Philip takes on the role of Don José. Paul Carey Jones, joint winner of the Wagner Society's 2013 singing competition is Escamillo.
