Goodenough College and the Armonico Consort are pleased to present two performances of “Too Hot to Handel” on 15 and 16 April 2015, to be held in the College’s prestigious Great Hall.

“Too Hot to Handel” is a hilarious - and at times deeply moving - romantic comic opera telling the tale of an `average Joe’ who rescues a glamorous opera singer's beloved dog. They fall in love, but as the leading lady makes her way in the music business, this tale of 'boy meets girl' reveals that all's not fair in love and opera.

Running through the opera are some of Handel’s most famous arias and duets and all who attend should be prepared for one or two surprises….

Tickets are £12 (£5 for College Members) and may be booked via Eventbrite (search "Too Hot To Handel").

Doors open at 7pm and the performances last from 7.30 - 9.30pm (including an interval).
