The Olivier Awards

Celebrations in the run-up to the Olivier Awards with MasterCard will start early this year with the opening of a new pop-up space in Covent Garden’s Piazza. The space will be open to the public from Tuesday 7 April through to Sunday 12 April ahead of the glamorous ceremony itself.

The store is located next to the Piazza entrance to the Royal Opera House and will offer the public a chance to see costume displays, exclusive, behind-the-scenes elements and photography of the Olivier Awards as well as purchase discounted theatre tickets and limited edition merchandise including pencils and postcards. They’ll be running a program of ticketed but free-of-charge events including Jacqueline Wilson’s storytelling, a workshop from the Royal Opera House and tips on how to get red carpet ready!

They’ll be lots of fun to be had with chances to take photos with an Olivier statue from the actual set and guess the show interactive quizzes.
